Glasses clink and water flows when artist Claudia Bucher and drummer Christian Bucher breathe life into the HörsehBar at the Nidwald Museum with their short performances. While Claudia Bucher is busy with glasses, making towers, clashing them together, filling them with water, spilling the liquid again, washing, building landscapes, Christian Bucher makes reference to the noises and pictures made by Claudia Bucher with his percussion playing. The HörsehBar changes day by day.

AMBASSADORS of the SMT [Stanser Musiktage]

Voice is the central medium that conveys the SMT message. Stans artist Rochus Lussi shapes the prototype of a female singer from wood. He inputs the figure and has it copied thirty times. He processes the blanks individually with facial expressions and gestures, given them a living surface and color. These AMBASSADORS of the SMT 2010 will appear before the event starts at various locations. During the Musiktage, they will be brought back to Stans and displayed in the Theater an der Mürg. Rochus Lussi's AMBASSADORS is the 2010 art and communications project we are undertaking in collaboration with our partner, Credit Suisse.

"Other worlds"

An audio-visual installation with sound icons, video, and composed sound modules drawing on live concerts in the Unteres Beinhaus (lower charnel house) by and with Charlotte Hug. Transitions have been a topic in the upper and lower charnel house for hundreds of years. "Other worlds" incorporate this: the sound becomes a sketch. Shapes dip into water and become a sound again, over the Earth as a moving meander of sounds in the installation, or played and sung live in the Unteres Beinhaus. The audience experiences how the two-dimensionality of drawings can be expanded into three dimensions – visual and accessible as acoustic sound space – and in the minds of the visitors. "Other worlds" are in all of us – everywhere.
