Three brothers from Palestine, who all play the oud: an extraordinary treat for lovers of the Arabian lute. Their repertoire is based on pieces dating back hundreds of years, which are imparted with a fresh capacity to enchant under the sparkling fingers and ardency of this trio. Growing up in a musical family, the three brothers learned to play the oud from an early age. The trio earned acclaim at Carnegie Hall, and Arte TV devoted a one-hour documentary to them. The virtuosity displayed by this trio reveals an essential quality not to be found in world-famous guitar trios.
