
The Glass Farm Ensemble from New York has the declared aim of appealing not just "experts" with their contemporary music, but also to a wider audience. The ensemble was founded by the Lucerne pianist and composer, Yvonne Troxler, who has been living in New York for over ten years. Among the works the ensemble will premiere in Stans are a piece by the Lucerne composer Luigi Laveglia that is based on the opposites of "European-American tradition" and "urban-rural." The evening concert will also integrate scenic accents, which will merge with the music.
