Norwegian pianist Bugge Wesseltoft, who also knows the sounds of club culture, is considered to be one of the most creative musicians in Europe. With his "Jazzland" label, the self-taught artist has brought new Nordic jazz to a worldwide audience. His long-term project "New Conception of Jazz" brought jazz and electronics together. For the last five years, he has concentrated on solo appearances on the grand piano, using lots of space and mastery of electronics. At the Willisau Jazz Festival in 2008, he gave a polished, innovative performance. Bugge will also be a highlight in Stans.
