Traveling home on scheduled public transportation

After 20:00., if you have a Stanser Musiktage pin or a main program ticket for the same day, you can use public transportion free of charge for your return trip: this is valid, as before, on the Zentralbahn and Postauto buses in Nidwalden and Obwalden, and also in the Passepartout zones 101, 201, 202, and 203.

For guests living outside Stans: To reach connections to Berne, Basle, or Zurich, we recommend you travel on the scheduled connection from Stans at 23:25.

Last scheduled trains to Lucerne:               

May 1 – May 5 (Sat – Thurs) daily at 23:25
May 6 + May 7 (Fri/Sat) daily at 00:35

Last departure to Obwalden: May 1 – May 7, daily at 00:25

Last departure to Engelberg: May 1 – May 7, daily at 00:04

Last departure to E’bürgen, Buochs, and Beckenried: May 1 – May 7, daily at 00:06

Extra trips for late travelers

In addition to the scheduled services, extra trains to Lucerne (Zentralbahn) and buses (PostAuto) to Sarnen/Alpach, Beckenried-Ennetbürgen-Beckenried, Engelberg will run:

Daily at 01:00, stopping at all stations

Extra service on Friday and Saturday at 02:30, stopping at all stations

Without a pin or main program ticket, the extra trips cost CHF 10.00, according to schedule, as per SBB/PostAuto rates.
